Millions of Women at Goddess Festival

reported on BBC news: about the Pongala festival in South India which happens each spring,  with millions of women coming from all over to cook porridge on the street for the Goddess Baghavathy - one incarnation of the Goddesses Kali and Saraswati.

This news was shared by Vicki Noble whose colleague Dianne Jennett at the Women’s Spirituality Masters program at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology attends this festival every year.

Dianne is quoted in the article: There is nothing like this anywhere else in the world. It is amazing the way a whole city makes arrangements for women to make this offering.
