Recognising the Beauty whom She Desires

Welcome, we saw you coming from afar, and you were beautiful. We saw you coming from afar, and you are beautiful.

This is the traditional response of the group to each participant in the Beltaine ceremonial circle, after each has spoken of, or expressed in some way, the beauty that they are – recognising and naming themselves as the Beauty whom She desires: it may be with a photo of themselves at anytime in their lives, or a photo of something they find beautiful – with the understanding that if you can see beauty, then it must be in you.
